imagine

Imagine far away and separated a small village of about 1000 people exists somewhere. Even isolated being, life was good. The life in the small village was a bit boring and if someone would had been asked how happy life in this village is, everybody would express only a medium level of happiness.
Then one day a new game was invented. This game causer not only excitement but also technological advancement. For some year the game was played and life has changed a lot. People wear other cloth, socialize in different ways, less babies die, people got older and overall the way of life became a very new and very different one. Also the changes did not stop and continued to happen. Old traditions started to be forgotten but because of the new changeable way of life new traditions did not form. Nobody cared about it because life was much better now.
It all was due to the new game and nobody would come to the idea to come back to a way of life without this game. Everybody knew the game has a danger. As a nature of gambling, it may cause unhappiness. In the same way everybody has advantages for life by this game, it could make not only many winners but instead many losers.
Many years the game brought winners but then year by year the dices rolled in different ways and more and more people lost the game.
The game itself did not change but so it is with gambling, one day mathematical logic kicks in on the long run and the hidden truce of gambling is revealed.
That development continued so long that 10 people owned half the village and most of the people were poor. Several years this continued and the game was also still played but no matter what the people did, most of them stayed poor.
As this happened at a village, the people started to hate the game as it brought after all unhappiness. The 10 people owning half the village could control it and could do things to keep this game on. It was all legal but day by day and week by week and month by moth a big unrest grew.
The village of 1000 people knew each other and talked to each other and half of them formed 1 social cluster. Let me call these cluster “Opposition”.
The opposition got stronger and unitary and the belief was formed to stop the game. Even though it was know that life before the game was less good and no alternate game was invented they wanted to stop the game.
Well, in a far away village of 1000 people the story way easy to continue. The opposition was in the end stronger as half of the village people belonged to them.
The game was stopped and the winners became normal people again and the looser could reached at least a medium level of happiness.
I cannot imagine what happens after this but I see our world and wonder if we are like this village and one day stop this game we play.
100 people own half the world and it is legal and all but after all unfair.
Could our real world one day change as well? Or is the fact of being many more people as in this village and living at a much bigger place would prevent us to change?
I wonder about these 100 real people in our world. They are like 100 kings nobody elected or selected. It just happened and it all legal but they are so powerful they do legally everything they can to keep being these 100 kings.
The story I imagined is a bit ugly but with a happy end. Well if the end is really happy nobody can imagine. Time appears for us endless and may be one day after the game was stopped to play another game would be founded causing the same situation. But also may be after this another opposition would be formed to make it stop.
Who knows! But what I know is that the current way of life is somehow unfair.
