Our existence is young. We exist for a third of a million years and start seeking the big picture of all since a tenth of a million years. These all are short time spans.
We are still far away of finding out the last secret of earth. We cannot image the time after. This time will come. Regardless how soon or late this will happen, it will switch our focus. Now we focus mainly to earth; to ourselves.
From this one moment after the last found secret on earth on, also the last human alive will understand we live in an oasis surrounded by a large desert. It is so large, no human alive can reach to the next oasis. A caravan may bring our existence to another oasis like earth but this success can only be enjoyed by following generations.
And even beyond, the last secret of our universe (not “the” universe), there may be the time the last secret is gained. Eventually, the pursuit to know will stick to the limitation of all knowledge. Latest then the focus goes back to us. This circle can only have an end with the finding of our Bodhi.
This travel can be shortened. Already here in our oasis we can seek peace with the universe without knowing everything. Knowing everything only brings the risk to destroy everything.
Should knowledge of mankind be limited? For now this is a clear yes because we are barbarians conflicted and twisted. I am one of us as well, no doubts. Only after a transition to a form of us without conflicts and twists we could survive universal knowledge.
The path to that cannot be survived if we are one homogeneous group.
So all in all I see us split over these different oases and some of the following forms of us will survive and other cannot. Eventually, one form will make it and in the end bethink of the beginning of our existence to find the way to universal peace. That is my dream of the future. A dream of a possible path. A path with hope and separated of the many paths leading to a paralysis of our existence.
