My war speech
The military and often politicians think war is just a state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country. Often it is thought that military actions are well-dosed towards defined goals and warfare is a set of regular forces by suitable means.
The truth cannot be more deviating from that!
In reality, war means that people do the most inhumane things.
That is right: most inhumane! And no animals would ever do what we as humans are doing to each other. To kill the enemy is in fact not the worst which can be done.
But let me list up this kind of reality to better understand what war means.
First of all, war is a set of operations with military and other power to achieve defined goals. The problem starts already with the goal. Often the official goal and the actual goal is not the same. If a country declares war towards another country it is often officially defined as either enlarging the own living space or protection the own living space or way of life.
So, geopolitical war or the fight against terrorist are often defined official goals.
How can it be explained that the soldiers of a war group get the unofficial order to rape every single woman of the enemy?
The motivation behind this is either uncontrolled hate or the goal to genocide.
War is often and unfortunately usually:
- Put out of action of enemy military equipment
- Killing of enemy soldiers or better written: wilful killing, or causing great suffering or serious injury to body or health
- Destruction of enemy assets, e.g. buildings, infrastructure, cultural treasures, animals
- Condescending behaviour
- Environmental damage
- Over time in conflicts, soldiers turn to be cruel, savage, brutal, vicious, ruthless, barbaric, heartless, merciless, diabolical, cold-blooded, remorseless, barbarous, fiendish, pitiless, unfeeling and bestial
- Killing unnecessarily or causing suffering
- Rape of women, men, children, including continuous or systematic rape
- Physical violence
- Forcing to kill own people or other inhuman actions to each other
- Forcing digging the own grave
- Torture or inhumane treatment
- Unlawful wanton destruction or appropriation of property
- Forcing a prisoner of war to serve in the forces of a hostile power
- Depriving a prisoner of war of a fair trial
- Unlawful deportation, confinement or transfer
- Taking hostages
- Directing attacks against civilians
- Massacres
- Directing attacks against humanitarian workers or UN peacekeepers
- Killing a surrendered combatant
- Misusing a flag of truce
- Settlement of occupied territory
- Deportation of inhabitants of occupied territory
- Using poison weapons
- Using civilians as shields
- Using child soldiers
- Firing upon a Combat Medic with clear insignia
- and much more
The causes are unfortunately often:
- Death to civilians, woman, aged people, children, animals
- Hate and feud
- Suffering for many generations to come
- Anxiety
- Eating disorder
- Sleep disorder
- Washing compulsion
- Disgust of sexuality
- Aggressiveness
- Irritability
- Depression
- Infertile due to various consequential reasons
- Lack of love for one’s own children
- Loss of the ability to cope with life
- Destruction of culture
- and much more
In crime, for instance a literally overkill of a person is a common cause of emotional driven homicide. In war, most of the above listed war crimes are a similar activity.
War parties usually lie and cheat. Usually, parts of all war parties do the above.
No war was ever just.
No war was ever worth it, never fair.
The common people are always paying an inadequate price.
The only winners of war are usually those who are involved in the production of weapons.
Poor people get more poorer and rich people get richer.
Anybody who is not for peace and not fully against war is ignorant or evil.
It is the duty of all citizen to support peace.
