Point of no return
As we sail into a future of too many people with too many problems, we unwillingly set course to painful and dramatic changes. We read about shifts which are and will be happening. Shifts are what we have today and tomorrow. Dramatic changes are what will come after. The fuel of the current global growth of a kind of everything will be interrupted one day. Then there will be global stasis. It will cause that so many people who live now in an unnatural man made environment, which is just worth living caused be a few luxury extras, cannot stand it anymore without mass psychoses. The few meaningful luxury extras will be not affordable for the masses anymore. The fact that so many people living in urbanized areas full of artificial stones and without enough nature will then fully kick in. Going for instance into a forest to just relax will be a luxury which most of the common people will not be able to afford. I think I will convince the next generation of my family to become police officers. This will be a secure job in the future. Secure from the point of view of actually having an occupation which will be really needed for a really long time.
The future then, uncensored: Police controlled countries in long and deep recessions, without the luxury of proper social welfare will exist. Masses of people will lose the ability to control themselves enough. No, it will be no chaos. This will be prevented by the police but a high suicide rate will be unpreventable. It will be a bit like the first industrialisation 200 years ago. Just with democracy but for many with the same face of reality. The old saying “too less to live but too much to die” will become a new meaning for many people.
The whole story will be man-made. I wrote “unwillingly”. That sounds so ironic of us intelligent beings. This all will be our failure and it will be dramatic. How many years can a country withstand no growth? Nature will suffer a lot but will also be able to recover (mostly). The world will be able to recover. In history it will be then the age of the past global age of lack of global control. Global control is so futuristic for us now. This age will leave behind a for us currently unimaginable global political and economic system. Somehow we will be able to globally control certain effects of the globalisation. Countries will remain being sovereign. This magic way of living together, forced by bad lessons caused by us, will be a new age. This possibly will be utopia. But what price will utopia cost for a single person? Freedom, what will this mean than? May be masses will become virtualized humans who will get used to the stinky world with just being at home, a very small home. May be people will have a virtual flat to have something to live in.
It all sounds like the lessons a child must experience to learn. We humans must touch the hot plate to learn that it is hot.
Nobody can prevent this to happen. The process has passed the point of no return. How do you feel about the sailing to wild waters? How do you feel about a future of unpreventable suffering? Well, I guess this sort of feelings we westerners have learned already, We know children die from starvation in other countries but we don’t care about it. This is a clear sign for me of the passed point of no return. Welcome to the future. The future will eat us and spit us out as something else. I already don’t like this unknown future and also this unknown type of human we will become.
The pre-humans of us are after all the better humans. Especially if comparing them with our future human type.
