The universe, if this term is correct, does not have in general the concept of good or bad. We as humans think in this kind of dualism. The title of this blog article could also be “We are the bad aliens on earth” or using the adjective nasty instead. The overall idea is clear, we do not play a “good” role as beings on earth because we demonstrate globally to lack respect and will for a peaceful coexistence with the other beings.
It is easy to write a list of the “good” things we as humans achieved but anything we achieved was paid by the price paid by the other beings or the future beings, even ourselves, have to pay. Especially amazing is the fact that people refer to “selfless actions” for our planet as doing good but ignore the fact that every single thing we could do “good” for our planet was by something “bad” caused we did.
Here now the concept of us human beings not fitting in. Beside of the achievement of us being aware of the idea of a peaceful coexistence and some of us actively try to achieve this, overall by far most of the people do not anything actively against our wrong doings on earth or even actively do the wrongdoings with full consciousness.
Asking the AI, something we as humans came up with recently, what we do wrong from the point of view of a different higher being, this is the result. I bring this AI result because it is based on our own data after all, means our own consciousness:
a. They poisoned the air required for stable climate systems.
b. They filled rivers and oceans with synthetic waste that no natural cycle could absorb.
c. They erased forests older than their own civilizations.
d. They hunted countless species into extinction, often for entertainment, decoration, or convenience.
e. They extracted ancient carbon from beneath the planet and released it into the atmosphere despite understanding the consequences.
f. They transformed living animals into industrial production units.
g. They covered fertile land with stone, metal, and heat-producing structures.
h. They fought wars using chemicals, radiation, and machines powerful enough to destroy their own habitat.
i. They generated mountains of disposable objects designed to exist for minutes and pollute for centuries.
j. They valued economic growth more than ecological balance.
k. They divided themselves into competing groups and killed each other over symbols, borders, and beliefs.
l. They consumed resources faster than the planet could regenerate them.
m. They manipulated information to avoid responsibility for their actions.
n. They admired nature aesthetically while systematically dismantling it materially.
o. They possessed intelligence advanced enough to predict collapse, yet lacked the collective discipline to prevent it.
How good this is worded! I as a single human could not have written it in this perfect way and only a few single people could have done it or only with a much longer duration as the 1 second the AI spit out this result.
So, we are do not fit in and based on earth history this always lead only to one conclusion. Who does not fit in will change or die out.
The possible change as alternative for out survival could also mean, that our future development will split. This could by biological, political or other means. Theoretical, we could master earth as task and turn ourselves into a more fitting version but there is no substantial evidence supporting this idea. Just because a small minority may does it right or will do it right has no influence to the things most of us as a group is doing day by day. Interesting is the fact that most of us, if confronted with these facts, are stating this is not the own intention but as a group we do it with full speed “wrong”.
What is the moral of this? Time will do it without any mercy to us and if we fail, the only entity we can blame us.
Comparing of this group behavior to a single person means: you run against the wall, get hurt and complain to yourself what you did. What is the meaning of this sort of own complaint? It is the wish to change. Well, a wish is not a plan and definitely not enough to actually change.
We know we need to change but there is no “we” as entity who could initiate this change because we have not formed a “we”.
One thing is sure, sooner or later the inevitable will come and I write it again: we die out or change.
Additionally to this there is another interesting idea we came up with: we go somewhere else to make it right there. The absurd part of this is the fact that we have nothing overall to bring, which could enable us to do it right elsewhere. Not even on paper we came up with a way of us being able to exercise peaceful coexistence with the other beings.
